Mathieu J. Auclair


Experience Highlights:

Mr. Auclair has experience in design, development, and testing of offline and online software, including the management of data and information that help support the applications.  Mr. Auclair began working as an intern at MSI and is currently part of the Technical Staff.  His duties involve application life cycle building, data analysis and validation, and performance measurements for various projects at MSI.  Mr. Auclair is responsible for the development of new applications to accelerate processes that develop deliverables.  He also is responsible for upgrading and enhancing previous technical projects.

Professional Experience:

MicroSystems Integration, Inc.                                                                               2008 – Present

Mr. Auclair has worked on several projects in a support role, including:

  • DHS Aviation Fleet Study.  Developed proof documents using results from the Coast Guard Maritime Operational Effectiveness Simulation (CGMOES) model in order to validate that the model inputs were producing the desired outputs. Generated data from the CGMOES outputs in order to provide assistance in generating expected performance level reports and summaries.
  • USCG Campaign Modeling and Simulation Master Plan (MSMP) and Modeled Concept of Operations (CONOPS).  Assisted in the data and information gathering, primarily Coast Guard surface and air assets, to help modernize the MSMP and the Modeled CONOPS.
  • USCG Fleet Mix Analysis Phase 2 (Offshore and Aviation).  Supported the analysis and validation of the data developed by the Coast Guard Maritime Operational Effectiveness Simulation (CGMOES) model.  Developed proof documents using the data to demonstrate the CGMOES model was operating as intended.  Generated data that assisted in the development of reports and summaries that demonstrated expected performance levels of the force structures.
  • Unified Performance Logic Model (UPLM).  Assisted in the development and data management of a web-based application used to align performance measurement, logic model, and knowledge management development throughout the Coast Guard.  Enhanced the application to make it more efficient and perform better.
  • USCG Modernization Business Case and Design.  Provided support for the Coast Guard modernization effort by tracking updates to organizational functional statements, and ensured functional and organizational data inside the UPLM application was current.  Developed Microsoft Visio macros to streamline the process of developing Coast Guard organizational charts.

Previous Experience:

Providence, RI                                                                                                  July – August 2007

During his internship, Mr. Auclair developed a PHP web application that assisted in validation of information entered into the Office of Library and Information Systems (OLIS) online forms. The web application provided more security to the website.  He also created a map with information of all Rhode Island libraries using Google Maps Package and developed a JavaScript slideshow to display pictures of all Rhode Island libraries, which was added to the front page of the RI OLIS website.
