Development Philosophy

MicroSystems Integration (MSI) focuses development efforts on creating solutions to customer problems that effectively apply technology to support business processes. MSI's solutions do not force unnecessary organizational or operational changes to accommodate technology.

We use Total Quality Management and Business Process Re-engineering methods in an integrated team-oriented development process.

One of the principal keys to business results that we use is effective performance measurement.  Performance measurement is not only useful in monitoring business processes, but also can be used to focus business efforts on achieving desired results.  A commonly accepted truism that anchors our development philosophy is “You get what you measure – ensure you measure what you want.”

Development of system solutions by MSI involves effective use of off-the-shelf components and products. This minimizes design and development costs, reduces project timelines and mitigates development risks.

Applying state-of-the-art technologies is important to successful, cost-effective solutions. However, we use technology only where it directly supports business needs.
